Resource of the Week January 30

This week’s selected website is a site hosted by San Jose University and contains tutorials that define plagiarism and tells students some ways to avoid it.

Generally, plagiarism is defined as taking, using, and passing off as your own, the ideas or words of another. Plagiarism is a serious offense and can result in receiving a failing grade or suspension.

Library staff is able to answer your questions and help you cite your resources in the format your instructor designates which is usually MLA or APA format.
