Declaration of Learning

On January 28, 2013 The U.S. Library of Congress agreed to join twelve other agencies and organizations in a “Declaration of Learning”. The group will organize historic artifacts to create digital learning tools for student access from computers, cell phones, and tablets. Other institutions participating in the project are The American Library Association, The Institute of Museum and Library Services, The National Archives, The National Center for Literacy Education, The National Council of Teachers of English, The National Council for the Social Studies, The National Endowment for the Arts, The National Endowment for the Humanities, The National Park Service, and The Smithsonian Institution.
